Fluffy Pairs – Privacy

The short version: Fluffy Pairs collects nothing. There are no accounts, no ads, no tracking and no analytics. Everything you put into the app stays on your device.
What the app keeps, on your device only
- Your child's name and the settings you choose.
- Recordings you make yourself: the name, and words in your own voice ("My voice").
- Photos you add in "My things".
- For the voice diary: recordings of the words your child says in the "First words" game, so you can hear how talking comes along. This is on at first; turn off "Keep your child's tries" on the Voice diary page and nothing is kept.
- Which words you marked on the Words page, and how many minutes were played today.
None of this is ever sent anywhere. The x in the voice diary deletes recordings, and uninstalling the app (or clearing its data) deletes everything.
Microphone
With "Bobo listens" on, the app listens for a sound so Bobo knows your child answered. It only measures how loud the sound is: it doesn't recognise words, and nothing is sent anywhere. Only in the "First words" game, while the voice diary is on, are your child's tries kept, on the device, as above. The microphone is also used while you hold a button to record your own voice. You can turn "Bobo listens" off in the grown-ups' settings.
Photos
The app uses your phone's or computer's own picker, so it only receives the photos you choose. It can't see the rest of your photos.
Internet
The app uses the internet for one thing only: downloading a language you choose (a language marked with +). It asks our server for that language and then downloads the file. The request contains only the app's name, the language and the file format: no name, no device ID and nothing about your child. Like any website, our hosting providers (Supabase and Cloudflare) may keep short technical logs, such as the IP address, for security. After the download the app works without internet.
What the app doesn't have
- No ads and no in-app purchases.
- No third-party tracking, analytics or crash reporting.
- No account or sign-in.
- No links that take your child out of the app.
Children
Fluffy Pairs is made for young children playing together with a grown-up. We don't collect personal information from anyone, children included.
This website
When you ask for a download on filipsworkshop.com, we store the name, email address, platform and message you type, so we can send you a download code by email (sent through Resend). We use them only for that, never share or sell them, and delete them when you ask. A review you post shows the name you type with it. The website is hosted by Cloudflare, and its fonts come from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google to load them.
