Pocket Game – Privacy

Last updated: 25 October 2026

The short version: Pocket Game has no accounts and no purchases. Your progress, stars, stickers and settings stay on your phone. The boards show a name the game made up for you, with your best time on today's tin or your level stars. Reminders are set on the phone itself and send nothing. The game offers short videos you can choose to watch; those come from Google AdMob, which collects some data to show and measure them.

What the game keeps, on your phone only

  • Your progress: level stars and best times, toy points, the things on your collector's shelf, stickers, the daily streak and the weekly cup.
  • Recordings of your best runs, so a faint ghost ball can race you. These are only ball positions, never anything about you.
  • Your settings (sound, vibration, left hand, holes, reminders) and match records.

None of this is sent anywhere (the boards below get only their own scores). Uninstalling the game (or clearing its data) deletes it.

Boards

The trophy room shows two boards: the best times on today's tin, and this week's level stars. When you finish today's tin or win stars, the game sends your best time or star total to our board database (run by Supabase), together with a name the game made up for you from two words and a number (like "Rusty Goalie 42") and a random ID the game created on your phone. The random ID is not your advertising ID or any other ID of your phone, it is never shown to anyone, and it only lets the game keep one score per phone.

Everyone who opens the boards can see the made-up names and scores. Board entries are deleted after 12 weeks. To have yours deleted sooner, write to us with the name shown on the board.

Daily reminder

After your first good result the game asks once whether you'd like a reminder. If you say yes, Android asks for permission to show notifications, and the game sets at most one reminder a day on your phone (today's tin is ready, or your streak ends tonight). The reminders are made and shown by your phone: nothing is sent to us or anyone else. Switch them off any time in GAME OPTIONS.

Sharing

SHARE on the daily tin's result opens your phone's share sheet with one line of text (the tin's number, your time, stars and streak). It goes only to the app and person you pick, and only when you tap it.

Optional videos

After a lost match the game can give you 3 more balls, on the collector's shelf it can give you a ball or rim before you have the toy points, and after a few tries given up on a level it can let you skip it, if you choose to watch a short video. Videos are never shown during play and never without you tapping the offer.

The videos come from Google AdMob. To show them, measure them and prevent fraud, Google's ad software on your phone collects your device's advertising ID, your approximate location (from the IP address), how you use the ad and diagnostic information about the app. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland the game asks for your consent first (Google's consent message), and "AD PRIVACY" in GAME OPTIONS lets you change it any time. You can reset or delete the advertising ID in your phone's settings. How Google uses this data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

What the game doesn't have

  • No in-app purchases, no account or sign-in.
  • No analytics, tracking or crash reporting of our own.
  • No contacts, camera or microphone.

Children

The game, with its optional videos, is meant for players 13 and over, though it's gentle enough for the whole family to play together. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

This website

When you ask for a download on this website, we store the name, email address, platform and message you type, so we can send you a download code by email (sent through Resend). We use them only for that, never share or sell them, and delete them when you ask. A review you post shows the name you type with it. The website is hosted by Cloudflare, and its fonts come from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google to load them.

Deleting your data

Pocket Game keeps no account. The only things it sends are your board entries: the made-up name, the random ID and your time or stars. To have them deleted, email [email protected] with the name shown on the board (open the trophy room's BOARDS to see it). We delete every entry under that name within 7 days and keep nothing. Without a request, board entries are deleted automatically after 12 weeks. Everything else stays on your phone: uninstalling the game deletes it. What Google's ad software collects is Google's to delete: reset or delete the advertising ID in your phone's settings, or see Google's page.
