The Thief of Tockwick – Privacy
Last updated: 30 October 2026
The short version: Your game stays on the phone. Nothing about you is sent to us: there is no account, no scoreboard and nothing to buy. Ads are optional videos, only offered when you choose to skip a step you are stuck on.
What the game keeps, on your device only
- How far you got on the way across Tockwick, your stars and the steps you skipped.
- Which parts of the story you have already seen.
- Settings such as music, sounds, vibration and the difficulty.
Uninstalling the game, or clearing its data, deletes all of that.
Optional ads
After a few tries at a step, the game offers to skip it. Skipping plays a short video first. You never have to watch one, and every step can be played without them. When you do, Google AdMob shows the video and may use its own advertising identifier, as described in Google's privacy policy. In Europe and the UK the game asks for consent before a personalised ad, and you can change your choice any time under Settings, Privacy Choices. There are no banner ads.
What the game doesn't have
- No account with us, and nothing sent to us.
- No camera, microphone, contacts or location.
- No in-app purchases.
- No analytics or crash reporting of our own.
Children
The Thief of Tockwick is a story puzzle game for players aged 13 and over.
